Usagi-chan

The quickest, most keyed-up member of the family. Her ears stand perfectly upright, constantly swiveling — as if on permanent alert, afraid of missing the slightest shift in the wind. Eyes wide open, barely blinking, with faint shadows underneath — she forces a polite smile, but there's tension hiding behind it.

She always carries a heavily annotated, endlessly revised to-do list, its edges worn soft from being clutched too tight. Told "you're already doing great," she pauses, uncertain: "...really? Am I missing something?" She really is doing well — she just can't quite believe it. Too afraid of being left behind to ever really let herself rest.
