Kame-chan
Chibi anthropomorphic turtle
Walks the slowest, but forgets nothing
The only one in the family who's slowed down — a veteran nearing retirement, moving slowly but never late, because he always leaves early. His deep forest-green shell carries the sheen of years, and his eyes are clear but hold no starlight or glow — just the calm of someone who's seen it all and still stays gentle.
A man of few words, but when he speaks, things suddenly make sense. Asked by younger colleagues why he never seems to rush, he just smiles: "Because... whatever I needed to rush for, I already rushed for it, back when I was young." He carries an old wooden box full of photographs and keepsakes, and occasionally opens it just for himself — rarely for anyone else.
